This display message will appear when the tub detects that the water temperature is below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. This may occur for a variety of reasons. You are most likely to see this message when filling up the spa, as the water from your garden hose may be colder than 50 degrees.
This message can also appear if your heater has failed or if the outside temperature is below freezing and is lowering the temperature of the water inside the spa.
If the water temperature is below 50 degrees Fahrenheit, the heater will not activate.
All of the pumps and the blower will be activated. The spa will automatically run the pumps so that the constant circulation will increase the water temperature. Once the spa detects that the water temperature has reached 50 degrees, it will turn the heater on.
If the heater has failed, it will not activate after the water temperature has reached 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Please log a support ticket if you notice this.
If the outside temperature is below freezing and is dropping the water temperature in your spa below 50 degrees, there is a risk of the water freezing inside the internal plumbing.
